The 4th edition of the Incoming Forum took place on January 21st in Campina, Romania. There were around 150 participants : tour guides, travel agencies, representatives of companies acting in tourism and which offers a range of connected services within the tourism industry.
Participants transportation Bucharest – Campina (2 coaches) was offered by Eurolines Group – one of the event’s partners.
The events was organized at SANCONFIND SRL Campina headquarter. Before starting the Incoming Forum, the participants had the opportunity to visit SANCONFIND Medical and Spa Centre, Iulia Hasdeu’s Castle (the most popular tourist attraction in Campina), Seva Hotel and Casablanca Guest house.
During the Incoming Forum, after a short history of this event, made by the organizer – Petre Dordea – owner of the tourism platform called www.infotravelromania.ro, various topis were discussed : the situation and future of medical tourism in Romania – past, present and future, the concept of tax free was presented, the challenges faced by the hospitality industry and the travel agencies when it comes to incoming, the concept of tourism advertising, the equestrian tourism – a new nische, wellness and SPA tourism and facilities in Romania, the exemple of Timisoara – Cultural Capital in 2021, the “Romanian Viagra” – the mofettes from Covasna county and about the opportunities and benefits of balneary tourism in Romania.
The interactive talks from the Incoming Forum highlighted the need for a tight collaboration between the main actors, operating within the tourism industry : the ministry, travel agencies, hotels owners and other providers of connected services and tour guides.
The moderators of the 2 sections of the Incoming Forum were : Petre Dordea (owner Infotravelromania) and Marian Constantinescu (Editor in Chief “Traveler Magazine”).
At the end of the Incoming Forum, the participants were invited to test some of the services provided by SANCONFIND Medical and Spa Centre : pool with salty water, relaxing massage, Vichy shower, salty and aromatic essences baths, dry or wet sauna.
For me it was a very inspiring and interesting day, as I had the opportunity to get to know a lot of interesting people, I exchanged information and even made new friends or possible business partners.
